The Weekly Photo Challenge is Story.
I was down at the Lake Huron shoreline at sunrise and found some juvenile Red Knot (Calidris canutus) on autumn migration.
At sunrise one feeds and one watches me.
More feeding.
Time for a bath.
A scratch.
And a nap.

Lovely photos. Birds are such rewarding subjects.
Thanks, I had a few species to choose from. Thinking about it I should probably have picked a spring story rather than an autumn one.

I particularly like that first photo.
Thanks, the golden light faded as I spent time with the birds.

A nice story with lovely shots!
The lighting is perfect for photography. I enjoyed the story in your photos,(I am such a bird nerd.)
Thanks, I didn’t realise that I had taken so many shots until I started going through my slide archives and digitizing a few thousand.
When it comes to photographing birds, I click like crazy and hope for some great action.
