I was up early on Sunday morning to drive around to the opposite side of Colpoy’s Bay for the sunrise. In part because it provides different views and in part because one of my regular locations has no access while the dock is being repaired.
Luckily I remembered to take a torch (flashlight) to follow the path down to the shoreline as I got there 35 minutes before sunrise. I then managed to drop one of my neutral density filters on the shoreline and needed it again to find the filter in the dark.
The photo is looking north-east out of the mouth of Colpoy’s Bay where there are three islands. In the photo part of White Cloud Island is on the left side of the frame with part of Griffith Island behind in the center of the frame.
