Saturday morning of week 42 saw me on the Lake Huron shoreline in Southampton, Ontario. After several days of strong winds there was some serious waves hitting the shoreline.
They were breaking over rocks surrounding the flagpole at the bottom of High Street in Southampton, the spray hit me a couple of times. I was quite surprised how rough Lake Huron was, I had been down at Colpoy’s Bay for the sunrise a few hours earlier and the bay was calmer than I expected given the wind.
In the photo you can see Chantry Island and it’s lighthouse on the horizon left of center.
