This week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge is It’s A Blur.
One image instantly came to mind when I read the prompt. I then thought of various other photos that would suit the challenge. In the end I went with my initial pick as I seem to have been rejecting my first choice rather a lot recently.
The photo is of the centre of a Coneflower with motion blur. Although there are some hints of sharpness bottom left.

soft and warm – very lovely blur – is it sharpness then that gives those trails to blurred images?
I’m not really sure. I suspect it could be that for a fraction of the overall exposure there isn’t any movement. So you have a “ghost” of a sharp image under the blur.
That’s a beautiful blur David very artistic!
Thanks. I doubt that I could reproduce it as I suspect that it’s a combination of camera and plant movement.
Following your instincts worked well. I’m glad you told us it was a coneflower – I seem to see it differently knowing that.
Thanks Susan. I thought that I should explain what it is because it probably is hard to work out.
Wow. This one’s got a very relaxing vibe. Well done.
Thanks.
