Why I disappeared for almost two weeks

Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t posted since a Wordless Wednesday post on the 27th of March.

A couple of hours after I posted on the 27th I fell off a ladder and have spent the intervening days touring various hospitals having the resultant damage X rayed, CT scanned and partially repaired.

I have a fractured left Tibia now held together with four screws and multiple fractures of the right Humerus that are being left to heal naturally.

Unable to put any weight on my left leg or use my right arm it’s going to be a long healing process. I will be being moved to a rehab facility when a bed becomes available.

So this will be the last 2019 photo I will be posting for a while. Taken a few days before the accident it shows a frozen Colpoy’s Bay at sunrise with the Niagara Escarpment on the horizon.

Ice at sunrise.

Really sorry to hear this, David. Wishing you a full and complete recovery, my friend.

Lots of sun when you can, healing foods and thoughts when you can too!☀️☀️☀️

I hope this is a good thing and helps to speed your recovery process.

I am sorry to hear this, David. Please take care and take the time to heal. Do pop by to say hi so that we know how you are doing. Blessings and healing rays for a speedy recovery🌻🌻🙏🌈

Yikes, what an awful accident. Good luck with your healing process. I hope it goes well and I look forward to seeing more of your photos when you can post again.

Oh no! I’m very sorry to hear that. It sounds scary to leave the arm to heal by itself, but I suppose the doctors know best. It’s good to see you back, though and I’ll be looking forward to updates. Get well soon!

Wow, you couldn’t settle for one broken limb, you had go for two. 🙂 So sorry to hear about your accident. I hope your healing is speedy. I did the humorous break, but to my left arm, a couple of decades ago so I understand. Take care.

Really sorry to hear about your injuries, David. Hope the best for your recovery. I find that the older one gets, the longer it takes. I’m still recuperating from a photo-based injury from last May. Blessing to you my friend. 🙂

I still have limited movement in the right shoulder and a weaker right arm. The left knee is still giving me problems. I’m heading to my weekly physiotherapy session in a few minutes.
