The new A Photo a Week Challenge is Raindrops.
I had a few ideas for the challenge and decided to go with a small selection of raindrop photos.
Raindrops on a Cedar branch.
Raindrops on a car roof.
Raindrops on a Virginia Spiderwort flower.
Raindrops falling past a young male Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

David, you did a wonderful job of capturing the rain drop in its entirety and gracefully nestled on the object it fell on! I loved it. Happy weekend!
Thank you, happy weekend.
Every shot is gorgeous, David. 🙂
Thank you.
So, the birds with the colors are usually the makes, right.
Pat
Yes, usually the males are more colourful. The Phalarope family of birds is one exception, the females are brighter as once they’ve laid the eggs they leave and the males incubate the eggs and raise the young.
Oh, reverse roles. Interesting what goes on in nature. Thanks for the info.
