This is my contribution to the A Photo a Week Challenge: Shades of Pink.
I decided to go with three photos taken on the Lake Huron shoreline in Southampton, Ontario, Canada.
Patches of ice on Lake Huron at dusk.
Range light at the mouth of the Saugeen River at dawn.
Cloud over Lake Huron at sunrise.
How lovely these are!

Thanks Susan. I was close to changing my mind and going with a different set but decided to go with my initial pick.

Were those shot on film? I really like the grain on the last one. The whole series is very nice. What made you decide on using these frames?

The last shot was taken on film and if I recall correctly I intensified the grain when editing. I’ve recently started using Snapseed to edit photos on my tablet and sometimes just add a random border.

Thanks for the response. I find that digital grain added in post-production is getting more and more convincing. I really thought it was from the film here.

To be honest, I’ve found that tweaking the sharpening settings can bring out the grain of a film original.

Well it is a tourist destination so the locals could be paying for the light shows.
