Throwback Thursday

Lake Huron shoreline at sunrise.

Throwback Thursday travels back 12 years and a few days to the fourth outing for my Olympus E-410.

I went down to The Long Dock in Southampton, Ontario. There’s not much of the dock left and I suspect many people walk along the shoreline without realising that there was a dock there many years ago. The photo is looking north towards the flagpole at the bottom of High Street with the flag visible just above the horizon.

Thanks Susan. Since the photo was taken the water level has risen quite a lot. I’d estimate around two feet so a lot of the sand is now under water again.
