This is my contribution to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Pens, Pencils, Crayons, Markers.
I’m classing sidewalk chalk as crayons.
Spotted in the town of Wiarton on the South Bruce Peninsula a few weeks ago when I was taking shots for another challenge.

Very nice! 🙂
The large quantities of calcium carbonate that they use to make “calcium enriched” commercial almond milk with… is essentially the same material as sidewalk and blackboard chalk.
Interesting and slightly disgusting. I suppose it you wanted coloured almond milk you could crush some sidewalk chalk into it.
This is really nice and adds color to the drab sidewalk. Although it is chalk, it dresses up the floor and give people some fun art classes!
I seem to think that it’s at the location of the weekly farmers market so suspect it was done by the bored child of a stallholder.
That bored child is a budding artist haha! For the life of me, I would never have thought of getting my colored chalks or crayons to do it. Happy weekend and it is so nice to see the sights through your lens as always. Thanks for the sight David!
I must admit that it’s the sort of thing I would have done but would probably have come up with a pattern of the various colours rather than just being random.
👍👏😃
Now this is a real cool photo for this week. Thanks David 😀
Thanks Cee.
