It was called Claire Hall Hospital at South Mimms in Hertfordshire. The old hospital buildings were due to be demolished and the site cleared. There’s now a cancer research centre and medical research institute on the site. Sorry Jackie, make that Clare Hall Hospital. I had the spelling wrong. Well, that’s dilapidated alright The hospital was due to be demolished and the site cleared. I documented the buildings before they were torn down. Well done, you! When my wife and i pass places like this, we say, “There is our dream-home.” 🙂 Actually it was about to be demolished to clear the site for a cancer research establishment and a medical institute.
