Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Layered

This is my contribution to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Layered.

My initial idea was a post about the layers of rock that forms the Niagara Escarpment.

Then I thought about some of the photos of layered clouds and changed direction.
