This is my contribution for day 25 of Becky’s October Squares: Lines photo challenge.
Lines of Quartz in a boulder on the Lake Huron shoreline. One of the boulders piled around Dominion Lookout at the bottom of High Street in Southampton, Ontario.

I have a much smaller stone like this in my garden. I love the white lines in the grey.
It’s one of a lot of boulders protecting the viewing area around the flagpole at the bottom of High Street in Southampton, Ontario. They have to be big to stop the ice moving them in the winter.
Great choice for the challenge!
Thanks Sandy. It was taken on the Lake Huron shoreline, the line part of shoreline never occurred to me until I posted this.
What Sandy says!
Thanks Becky. I’m running out of days to do a shoreline post.
Like a spiders web . . brilliant lines. I’d love to have this in my garden!
It’s fairly large. They used large boulders to protect the viewing area around the flagpole at the bottom of High Street in Southampton.
I’ll find a way!!
