This is my contribution to the Cosmic Photo Challenge: Show Us Your Christmas.
The photos start several weeks before Christmas with a fire truck near the start of the Wiarton Santa Claus parade on the South Bruce Peninsula early in December.
Some of the Christmas lights in a window at home with out of focus lights in the room beyond the window.
Some Christmas baking, Viennese Shortcakes made with my mother’s recipe from the 1970s.
Christmas lights on Berford Street in Wiarton on the South Bruce Peninsula. 44 minutes before sunrise and a short detour when I was heading down to the Colpoy’s Bay shoreline for the sunrise.
Christmas Eve sunrise over Colpoy’s Bay and the Niagara Escarpment.

These are fantastic! Well done.
Thanks K’lee. The forecast doesn’t look good for a Christmas day sunrise so I went with this morning’s.
I know what you mean. We’re suppose to get rain.
Rain or snow in our forecast until New Year’s Eve.
Thank you, David. Merry Christmas.
Thanks Hannah, Merry Christmas.
Another “Wow” post, these are great. My favourites are the window lights (nice depth of field) and the sunrise, because; general awesomeness.
Happy Christmas, David, thanks for all your contributions this year.
Thanks Dale. I used my lightweight kit of three manual focus primes for the window lights so it would have been taken with the 55mm lens although I don’t remember the aperture. I was adjusting the aperture to get the shutter speed I needed to catch the various lights as they flashed.
