CFFC: Opposing Colours

This is my contribution to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Opposing Colours.

The first photo came to mind immediately, the second took me a while to come up with.

Ice on Lake Huron at sunset. Taken in the spring when the ice was breaking up. It’s the only time I have seen ice formations like these.

Ice at sunset.

A false colour photo of a model of the Influenza virus. Produced for the cover of a book on Influenza research I deliberately used opposing colours for some versions.

Thanks Cee. I thought of the ice at sunset straight away but forgot about the flu model despite deliberately using opposing colours for some versions.
