This is my contribution to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Opposing Colours.
The first photo came to mind immediately, the second took me a while to come up with.
Ice on Lake Huron at sunset. Taken in the spring when the ice was breaking up. It’s the only time I have seen ice formations like these.
A false colour photo of a model of the Influenza virus. Produced for the cover of a book on Influenza research I deliberately used opposing colours for some versions.

Thanks Cee. I thought of the ice at sunset straight away but forgot about the flu model despite deliberately using opposing colours for some versions.

Thanks. That flu virus would hurt even more, the model was about 10 inches in diameter.
It kind of looks like a really scary weapon
