Weekly Prompts: White

This is my contribution to the Weekly Prompts: White challenge.

Being as it’s winter in Ontario, Canada it was almost ìnevitable that my contribution would involve snow. I did actually try to come up with an alternative to snow but didn’t think of anything I was really happy with.

All the photos were taken in the last month. One was taken an hour or so before posting.

Wind formed patterns in the snow.

We’re not had much yet. We keep getting a few inches and then it thaws. Some winters we would have had snow banks along the sides of the roads by now.

I’m on high ground, but so far we have only had snow once and that was on the 1st December. It lasted until mid morning. These days I love to see it, but not happy to be outside in it! Thank you David 🙂

Each winter seems to be different nowadays. This winter has been very mild, a few years ago it was so cold that the water mains in towns and cities were freezing. A couple of years ago we’d had 5 feet of snow by now and were running out of places to plough and blow snow.
