This is my day 27 contribution to Becky’s January Squares: Light photo challenge.
The setting sun taken with a long forgotten mix of telephoto lens and teleconverters. The tiny specks below the sun are very distant wildfowl flying to roost. Taken at Little Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada in the autumn.

Knew your photo would be good! Lovely shot
Thanks Becky. If it was looking like a suitable sunset I would set up the camera in the hope of getting a V of Sandhill Cranes or Snow Geese flying across the sun but it never happened.
They know, they always know those cranes and geese!
I don’t know how, it must be some 6th sense.

Fabulous
