This is my contribution to the Friendly Friday Photo Challenge: Coffee Conversations although it’s not really about the prompt as there’s no conversations involved.
You may wonder what a window with Outlaw Brew Co. on it has to do with coffee. The window is in Southampton, Ontario and in the summer it’s normally open with coffee being sold to tourists through it. Quite what that has to do with a micro brewery named Outlaw I’m not sure. Just to confuse things even more, when I lived in Southampton the building was a bar known as ‘the bucket’ or ‘the bucket of blood’ by locals. I no longer remember the real name of the bar.
Just so there’s some actual coffee in this post, a low key study of my third cup of the morning. I used a gold reflector to bounce some warm light onto the glass.

Nice light on your coffee cup photo. I need a few cups myself to start the day. #1 is only a bootstrap. #3 gets me going 🙂 Thanks for joining in the challenge David.
Thanks. I’ll have another two or three cups at supper time.
I need three cups per morning too – four if I’m feeling self-indulgent.
I’ve cut back to three in the morning and two or three at supper time.
I can’t have any after mid afternoon. Do you drink decaf?
Regular coffee, no decaf in the house. I used to drink a pot of coffee in the morning and half a pot at supper time.
Great image!
Thanks Sue. Hand held despite the 2 1/2 cups of coffee.
I can certainly imagine a lovely conversation over that cup of coffee – I love the point of view ☕️
Thank you
