I had several ideas for a post when reading the One Word Sunday prompt Restoration.
In the end I went with two very different restored pieces of machinery.
This is Olivia, a De Havilland Canada Beaver floatplane. Built in 1956 and restored in 2007. Photographed at the Air and Auto Extravaganza, Wiarton Airport, Ontario in 2018.
Giving the brass on the smoke stack of a restored traction engine a final polish. Taken at a Steam Rally in Crewe, Cheshire, the traction engine has a front mounted winch.

Thanks Janet. There was a similar comment about the traction engine on my Facebook page.
Not me there, though. 🙂
No, someone who follows my blog via my Facebook page.
