This is my contribution to Cee’s On the Hunt for Joy Challenge: Week 12 – Create abundance out of ordinary things.
An abundance of hex head screws. The thread on these screws is a common one found in various items around the home. The thread is almost identical to the thread found on the bottom of many cameras for attaching them to a tripod. All these screws are stainless steel, I use them on various camera mounts and brackets. The blue tint in the photo comes from them being in a translucent blue plastic container. The gold comes from me using a gold reflector to bounce some of the light back into the container.
An abundance of hex keys and a couple of drivers. Pretty much every time I buy a camera or lens quick release plate it comes with at least one hex key, sometimes two if the plate has removable safety stops. As a result I have quite a collection of hex keys, these are just the ones kept in the container with the screws in. I very rarely use any of them preferring either of the two drivers in the photo.

Still life in abundance, I like it
I thought it was rather appropriate given the self isolation at the moment. I had a couple of ideas for the challenge before needing a screw for a camera mount.
Oh I never thought of tools for this challenge. Perfect photos David 😀
Thanks Cee. I was thinking of some of the items in the kitchen cupboards, peppercorns and similar. Then I need a screw for a quick release plate and there was a new idea for the prompt.
