Thanks Laura. Having a collection of photos of red post boxes and lots of bird species it was an obvious choice for me.
I love the pheasant – he’s expressing caution!
He’s listening to the click of the shutter on the camera. I was in a canvas hide on the edge of a wildflower meadow.
A great choice, David. That is a wonderful pheasant, and I like the wet paint sign in the first mail box image.
Thanks Debbie. The wet paint warning has amused me since I took the photo. Especially as it looks like it was painted with a yard broom rather than a paint brush. There’s even paint on the hedge behind the post box.
