Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Second Time Around

This is my contribution to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #92: Going back – the second time around.

This is what I had prepared before losing our internet connection on Sunday evening. I’m using the phone as a WiFi hotspot to post this but don’t expect the phone to continue working once the network gets busy.

On reading the prompt I had lots of ideas for a post. I have moved around a lot and have lived in similar areas several times. However, when trying to come up with photos to use I realised that I had hardly ever returned to specific locations.

That got me thinking about some of the locations I have returned to while living in an area. One of the first locations that came to mind was Colpoy’s Bay on the South Bruce Peninsula. I have lived in the area for 12 years, probably the longest time I have lived anywhere since my childhood. I have a few locations I go to for the sunrise but when I started selecting photos for this post the first three were all from the same location so I decided to limit myself to that spot.

Thanks John. It turned out to be an interesting challenge despite losing our internet connection on Sunday evening. I couldn’t have reworked it if I had wanted to.

Thanks Sandy. It would be interesting to get down there now to check out the colours now the air is clearer but it’s out of bounds for the duration of the Ontario shut down.

Thanks Ann-Christine. I had to skip some of the shots I selected to space them out. There was three from 2018 that I had to whittle down to one.

Thanks. There was a couple I wanted to use but they messed up the time frame to badly. Then we lost our internet connection again and I couldn’t make any changes.

Thanks Patti. I was still selecting and rearranging the photos when we lost our internet connection on Sunday evening so I went with what I had at that point.
