This is my contribution to the Weekly Prompts Weekend Challenge: Walkabout.
A few photos from some of my walks around the neighborhood over the past few weeks.
Some interesting tree bark with Cedar trees and blue sky providing blocks of colour in the background.
Paper Birch trees against a blue sky with some nice wispy clouds.
Colourful green moss and orange Lichen growing on a boulder.
A giant blue butterfly garden ornament against a blue sky.

Some people take a walk but they never look. Not so with you.
Hope you’re feeling a little fitter – thank you, David. 🙂
Thanks Sue. I have a technique for finding photos when out on my walks. I take a single prime lens so it makes me look for shots that will work with the angle of view of whatever lens I took with me. Feeling a little better but our weather could improve. We had snow a few few days ago and the temperatures are more like March than May. I have to get bundled up to go for a walk.
I’m with you on the single prime lens, David!
It doesn’t always work. Yesterday afternoon I took a short telephoto but there was a couple of shots where it wouldn’t focus close enough.
No, it doesn’t but you just have to take images with what you have, and accept there are things you’ll miss….
And put a macro lens on the camera today.
Did you….
It’s not mid morning yet. I’m just about to head out as it’s warmed up from the -5°C it was when I got up.
Excellent
Love that lichen!
We do seem to get some colourful and interesting types around here. I wonder if it’s to do with the limestone that’s everywhere.
I wonder….
