This is my contribution to the Friendly Friday Photo Challenge: Isolation Cravings.
I’m craving my early morning visits to the various shorelines in the area. Not just for the sunrises but also the bird species that can make an appearance.
Sunrise reflected in Colpoy’s Bay on the South Bruce Peninsula.
Three birds silhouetted against the rising sun on Colpoy’s Bay.
The range light at the mouth of the Saugeen River in Southampton at dawn.
An Osprey with a White Sucker on the Lake Huron shoreline.

Beautiful photos David. The parks will be open again this weekend. I hope you’ll be well enough to go out soon 🙂
Thanks Sandy. Our local shoreline parks are still closed for health reasons.
Nice pictures.
Thank you.
Beautiful photos. Sunrise was a nice opening.
Thank you. I like to get to a sunrise location well before sunrise and will often stay for a while after sunrise looking for birds and occasionally mammals
You are a true photographer. Keep up the good work. ;0)
Our cravings too – although even when i get out I can only dream of captures like some of these!
Thanks Becky. There doesn’t seem to be the same wildlife opportunities since we moved up and across the peninsula. I’ve never seen an Osprey on the local bay let alone had one fishing in front of me.
oh that’s a shame . . . . here’s to when you can travel further afield. How are you by the way? Recovered or is it still work in progress
I’m pretty much recovered although at times it seems like I have a way to go as some days are better than others.
I found after major surgery years ago, I was doing brilliantly for weeks and then suddenly there’s a day when it feels like I have stepped back a week or more. Our body does strange things in recovery . . at least though it sounds like you are heading the right direction overall 🙂
Just an FYI. There’s someone reposting dozens of posts as theirs, you may want to check if some of your posts have been reposted.

I’ve reported the issue to WordPress but haven’t heard back from them. Our internet connection is flaky again which isn’t helping.
Ooh thanks for heads up, I’ll go and check
Ahh they’re doing it as reblogs. I did turn offmy reblog button a while back but maybe I’ll turn it off again.
Okay, where’s the reblog button.
It is one of the ‘sharing buttons’ . . . . if you are using the app, look for sharing under configuration and then sharing buttons. And turn off reblog and also press this. . . hopefully then it will reduce the number of posts they ‘borrow’.
If you are on web then you can type https://wordpress.com/marketing/sharing-buttons/URL OF YOUR BLOG . . .and then do the same
Thanks Becky, found and turned off.
Great, hopefully will stop it.
