This is my contribution to the Cosmic Photo Challenge: The World in Lockdown.
The first thing that came to mind was a small selection of photos from my various walks around the neighborhood during the lockdown in Ontario.
Late March and the sky is already noticeably bluer with so little air traffic.
Some colourful moss and lichen growing on a limestone boulder.
Ivy growing up a tree trunk.
A sign of spring, new leaves starting to unfurl two days ago.

These give a very nice feel for the location, thanks.
Thanks Dale. The nearest I came to empty streets was the last photo that was taken at the edge of our side road. It was busy at the time, two neighbours were out for a walk while social distancing so the three of us took up most of the road when passing.
Yeah, it’s been very odd, but I’m now more worried about the fact it looks like business as usual round here. Dangerous days.
It’s a similar story around here. One reason I was walking on our side road at the weekend was because of the people who had appeared at their weekend place meaning that some of trails and paths were to busy.
I especially liked the colors of the moss, lichen and ivy against the boulder and tree.
Thanks Frank. Both shots are very light dependent. The boulder needs sunlight for the colours to pop and the Ivy changes a lot depending on time of day and quality of light.
