This is my contribution to the Friendly Friday Photo Challenge: The Colour Pink.
When I read the prompt some of my photos from mid 1980s came to mind. Taken on high speed film for the film grain and using soft focus filters I was trying to get a greeting card publisher interested in the photos.
A Fuchsia flower.
A Rose.

Very pink tints – were you successful in your endeavours?
No, they were just too far from what was the norm in those days. Prints of the Fuchsia flower ended up on some walls in the 1980s.
The fuchsia is a great shot. I do like the soft focus too. It puts a different feel on the photos. It reminds me of glamour photography.
Thanks. I was in an experimental mood with the high speed, grainy film and soft focus filters. The online versions have proved to be more popular than the originals were in the 1980s.
No doubt due to a wider reach of audience?
The work never got beyond an editors desk originally. I wrote a short article about the work and tried to get photo magazine editors interested..
It is a process O know little about but would like to publish a book some day.
