Wow! I thought sea urchins…
I suspect that quite a few people would. It was used in BBC Wildlife magazine when they had a monthly competition to identify the subject. The first correct answer won a years subscription. No one won a years subscription that month.

True. BBC Wildlife magazine stopped using my “what is it?” photos after that.

That’s what I thought. It didn’t really matter, the magazine still used my photos to illustrate editorial articles.
