Virginia Spiderwort

This week’s Flora and Fauna Friday post is a Virginia Spiderwort (Tradescantia virginiana) flower after rain.

The plant is native to eastern North America but widely grown in cottage gardens. This specimen was photographed in a garden in Nantwich, Cheshire, England.
