I spotted some colour in the sky and made a short detour down to the bay. It was a lot more interesting than it looked when I first spotted the colour. Can’t imagine being there… Thanks for sharing! Not too dissimilar from my realm at the Home by the Sea (lake). http://seachange.home.blog/2020/08/04/good-morning/ We’re on a peninsula so have bays on the east and Lake Huron on the west with various smaller lakes in the area. Ah, an identical scenario. Our peninsula has Moreton Bay to the east and an estuary to the south, and a lake (man-made) to the north. Although I have to say after looking at the map, there is nothing here as breaktaking as Niagara Falls. The east side of the peninsula is formed by the Niagara Escarpment which is the same escarpment that forms the Niagara Falls. Lovely. Do you vist there often? If you’re referring to Niagara Falls I’ve never been. It’s not my sort of place, I’d much rather head out to the wild north of Canada. Yes. I was. Niagara is such an icon. Is it very commercialised? Is that the reason you haven’t visited? I haven’t been anywhere in the American continent, as you can probably tell, so I don’t know what it is like. Totally commercialised. Some people say the Canadian side isn’t ad bad as the U.S. side but no one ever recommends visiting. The first thing I think of when I hear the name is the regular T.V. ads for Fallsview Casino. It’s pretty ad when you associate the name with a casino. Oh dear. That Casino sounds like cheesy American advertising at its worst. That’s on the Canadian side. Oh no!!! 🌟wow!🌟 Glad you liked it.
