Flora and Fauna Friday this week is Cotoneaster horizontalis growing in a garden in Nantwich, Cheshire, England.
The plant is native to western China but it is a popular garden plant in the U.K. where it has become naturalised and may be becoming invasive. The berries are a popular food source for various bird species in the winter.

I’m surprised that it hasn’t been used as a Christmas decoration.
Someone ought to start the trend and then it becomes a costly yuletide purchase….voila it then becomes a part of Christmas haha!
