This is my contribution to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow prompt.
I had a few ideas for the challenge before considering the word tomorrow in the prompt. I decided to head down to the dock at Colpoy’s Bay for the sunrise the day after the prompt was posted and see what I came up with.

Love your opener this week David, a calm and beautiful morning. Hopefully indicative of better days ahead!
Thanks Tina. It’s been a strange couple of weeks going from a tornado warning to frost and snow to unseasonably warm weather for the past few days. It was more like September than November down at the bay yesterday morning.
Love your images – serene. And I love the idea of walking out to capture the new sunrise.
Thanks Ann-Christine. Tomorrow in the prompt gave me the idea and luckily the weather cooperated.
😀
Wow……Love ’em!
Thanks Sandy. I suppose I was lucky the weather cooperated after coming up with the idea for the post.
That you were!
Actually, this morning was better but that wouldn’t have been following the rule I set for myself.
Love that dock shot! Great perspective.
Thanks John. It can be hard to avoid the dock at that location this time of year so I decided to make use of it in the shot.
Very beautiful images, transmit a lot of calm.
Thanks Ana. The strange weather helped. It’s been more like late summer than autumn around here recently.
Love that first image!
Thanks Sue. Until last year I tried to avoid including the dock in photos because the end was fenced off due to it being unsafe. It was rebuilt during the summer of 2019 and I’ve been including it in photos since it reopened.
Ah, good to see
That looks a lovely place to head down to, David. 🙂 🙂 Have a good week!
Thanks Jo. We’ve got unseasonably warm weather for the time of year, it was 23°C yesterday afternoon so I’m trying to make the most of it having had to scrape frozen wet snow off the car windows a week ago.
Mad, isn’t it, but nice while it lasts 🙂 🙂
Sunday and Monday both set new records for high temperatures on those dates. Yesterday the high beat the previous highest temperature by nearly 5 degrees.
Beautiful shots.
Thank you.
Sunrising at the bay, incredibly beautiful, David!
Thanks Amy. I have to say that the next morning was more interesting but that wouldn’t have been the day after the prompt was posted.
