Splashes of Colour at Sunrise

This is my contribution to the Cosmic Photo Challenge: A Splash of Colour prompt.

I had a couple of ideas for the challenge before heading down to the dock at Colpoy’s Bay for the sunrise on Saturday morning. It was mostly cloudy and grey over the bay with small splashes of colour.

That made me think of this challenge and some other recent cloudy sunrises.

Patches of red in the sky and a salmon band on the horizon of Berford Lake on the South Bruce Peninsula.

Thanks Dale. The second location is one I only visit late or early in the year when the sun rises far enough to the south to be over that section of the Lake.
