This is my contribution to the Cosmic Photo Challenge: Snappers Choice prompt which left the theme open.
On a side note, does Snappers Choice sound like canned food for a tame photographer to anyone else?
As we have had grey skies with snow and rain a lot of the time recently I thought I would share a small selection of photos taken on my walks around the neighborhood looking for colour in the snow.

Snow on moss and lichen covered boulders snapped a few days ago.

A Maple leaf buried under snow after a 40 hour snow storm in late November.

And just to show how little some things have changed this year, snow clinging to a leaf in mid January.

Hahaha, love your post title.
A fine selection of stuff it is, too.
Thanks Dale. After an inch of rain Saturday we’re supposed to get heavy snow starting later today. I may have to find time to go for a walk before it gets too bad.
How I envy you the snow!!
We’re forecast to get heavy snow starting around midday. We got our first snow about 6 weeks ago.
