This is my contribution to the One Word Sunday prompt Soon.
My first thought on reading the prompt was Christmas before realising that that would be a lot of people’s choice.
Then I remembered that there was another significant date sooner than Christmas. Tomorrow is the winter solstice.
Obviously I can’t travel ahead to tomorrow so here’s a photo taken a few hours after the winter solstice last year.
