This is my contribution to the One Word Sunday prompt Skyline.
I decided to go with a local skyline with some interesting geology.
This is the Niagara Escarpment in autumn with Wiarton Marina below. This is the same escarpment the the Niagara River flows over at Niagara Falls on the Canada/U.S. border. The escarpment starts and ends in the U.S. after traveling across part of southern Ontario and forming the eastern side of the Bruce Peninsula. You can see sections of the limestone face of the escarpment through the trees.

Peaceful skyline.
Thank you. I find the clouds over the escarpment interesting. The autumn colour was better the next time I was there but the sky was a lot more boring.
both sky and autumn colours are gorgeous.
Thanks, glad you liked it. The colour was better later in the autumn but with a bland sky.
And you caught a bit of the leaf color as well.

Yes although the colour got better the sky was never as interesting later.
