This is my contribution to Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Vanishing Point prompt.
It’s also a contribution to Becky’s January Squares on the theme of Up.
Looking up at some bare trees on the South Bruce Peninsula in winter. Taken on a recent walk around the neighborhood with a fisheye lens on the camera.

a clever vanishing point
It makes me think of the sci-fi films when spaceships zoom of into hyperspace.
Straight up and wiggly at the same time.
My original title was Looking Straight Up but there’s been so many Looking Up titles for Becky’s January Squares I decided to drop the Looking from the title.
Oh how fun and terrific for this week 😀
Thanks Cee. With all the grey and dull weather we’ve been getting recently I’ve been shooting in black and white a lot. Plus, being back under lockdown I have been going for walks around the neighborhood with a wide variety of lenses.
How was your neck after this shot?
My neck was fine. The hardest part was getting the camera up to my eye as I have restricted movement in the right shoulder after shattering the top of the humorous in an accident in 2019. I can get the camera to my eye briefly but I can’t hold it there so a lot of the shots had power lines or parts of building roofs in the frame.
Oh no… hope you will be back to normal the soonest, David!
It’s been about 20 months since the surgeon okayed me to start walking and using the arm so it’s probably as good as it’s going to get. I had physiotherapy on the leg and arm for six months until the shoulder stopped improving.
