I’ve been reading about how lichen is made up of two things in one and I seem to see that illustrated here.
It’s a combination of fungi and algae and comes in a huge range of colours, sizes and forms. We get quite a range around here and I started photographing some of the colourful or visually interesting ones a year or two ago.
