This is my contribution to Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge: Letter W at the end of the word prompt.
At first I completely blanked on words ending in W until I looked outside at the snow. A small selection of photos featuring snow taken over the years.

2000s. A frozen and partially snow covered Lake Huron in front of Chantry Island and its lighthouse at sunset. Southampton, Ontario, Canada.

1970s. Trees in snow at Hatherton near Nantwich in southern Cheshire, England.

1990s. Snow and hoarfrost covered farmland near Punnichy, Saskatchewan, Canada at sunrise.

2020s. Autumn leaf trapped in snow on a conifer branch. South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada.

Our snow has completely vanished now so thanks for this treat. Great snowy views. 😀
Thanks Debbie. We’ve had another 5 or 6 inches since Tuesday morning but it’s not been a bad winter so far. Temperatures have been slightly above normal a lot of the time and no snow storms bad enough to close roads.
I so adore your snowy photos for this week. I really like them all and can’t pick a favorite 😀
Thanks Cee. I went for as wide a variety as possible while covering the widest timeframe as possible.
