Pretty, pretty!
Thank you. It wasn’t so pretty 24 hours earlier with strong winds and horizontal snow.
Ouch!
this works so well 🙂
Thanks Becky. It’s a favourite subject on my walks but has been out of bounds a lot of the time this year due to snow and ice.
Hopefully the snow and ice is beginning to melt now
We’re back into winter with below zero temperatures and more snow. My walking routes are effectively zero at the moment due to a succession of freezes/thaws turning everywhere into a sheet of ice. Now with a layer of fresh snow covering the ice.
oh yikes – guess not unusual though. I know at Lake Tahoe it can be May/June before all the snow has gone from the lower levels.
I’ve known snow still be around in May if the sun doesn’t shine on it. This is month five for us as I remember scraping frozen wet snow off the car windows on the first Monday of November.
A long winter for you
The past few winters seemed to start early and drag on. Last year we went from winter weather to heat advisories in the space of a couple of weeks.
