Thanks Tina. That shot was from last summer shortly after the Covid-19 restrictions started easing. It quickly became a favourite.

A very beautiful series, David. Golden light on the mist is magical!! The colors and light changes of the storm clouds is stunning. I love the squirrel and the backlit of the birds.
Thank you so much for sharing.

Beautiful, David! My favourites are storm clouds and the backlit cranes. Just love the shades and nuances, and the golden light.

Thanks Ann-Christine. Each image seems to have been a favourite for someone. Normally one or two seem more popular.

Thanks Laura. I was trying to get as much variety as possible with shots where the light was an important part of the image.

David, I adore the picture of Scotland with all the mist. It’s like a fairy tale picture, very mysterious. The squirrel, cute little guy, is my second favorite. All the rest are my third favorite. Very natural uses of light. 🙂

Thanks Marsha. I selected photos where the light was important to the image. The Scotland photo won a national photo contest on the theme of ‘The Beauty of Light’ and was published worldwide by Olympus Japan.
