Mist Over Scrubland

Some patchy mist over scrubland on the South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario shortly after sunrise last Sunday morning.

I isolated the trees with a telephoto lens. I had stopped on my way home from the sunrise to do some bird photography and had my long telephoto on the tripod.

I liked the way the mist and light made the scene almost monochromatic apart from the strip of colour in the foreground.

Thank you. Isolating detail with a telephoto lens is something I do quite frequently. Three of my most popular/biggest earning landscape photos were taken with telephotos isolating details.
