Walks On the South Bruce Peninsula

This week Amy has given us the theme Keep Walking for the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.

I thought the theme was ideal for a look back at some of the photos from my walks around parts of the South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario this year.

2021: Orange Daylilies

Two Orange Daylilies in front of a large limestone boulder. I used a fast portrait lens to isolate the flowers and the limestone boulder to provide some negative space.

Cosmic Photo Challenge: In the Trees

I parked the car and walked along a back road when I saw the rising sun shining through mist over scrubland.

Lens-Artists: You Pick It!

One of my experiments with intentional camera movement on a walk around the neighborhood last spring.

2021: Displaying at Sunrise

A male Red-winged Blackbird displaying shortly after sunrise. Another walk along a back road on my way home from the sunrise at the local bay.

A beautiful set of walking images, David. I love your ICM shot, remarkable. after practicing a few times, now I know how difficult it is to take ICM image like yours. Lovely flower image with the nagative space. Sun shining through mist is a fine artwork! Enjoyed walking with you.

Thanks Amy. With the various lockdowns we’ve been under there’s a lot of photos from walks around the neighbourhood this year. So I went for as much variety as I could.
