Square Months

Past Squares #4

Throwback Thursday: 15th July 2021

Trees on the Shoreline

A section of the Last Mountain Lake National Wildlife Area, Saskatchewan, Canada at sunset in late autumn.

One of my favourites from Tree Squares month but clearly not many people liked it as it was largely ignored and didn’t get a single comment.

A look back at some of my personal favorite square photos from previous months of squares. Some were popular, some not so popular at the time.

This was a post in Tree Squares Month and is my day 4 contribution to Becky’s October Squares on the theme of Past Squares.

oh what I didn’t even comment at the time? So sorry if that is the case as this is fantastic – did I even like? If I didn’t sounds to me as though WP mucked about with the pingback

Maybe it’s just a question of labels – as a light square it might have attracted more attention … I love the colours. It’s not often that one sees yellow / orange in combination with a distinctly blue sky.

I think it might be the mood of the picture itself. It’s very relaxing, so people perhaps gazed for a while, then shook themselves and moved on without saying anything. I remember gazing at it myself last time, thinking about the vegetation on the left and in the sea.
