Getting Back to Basics: A Splash of Colour In the Treetops

A splash of autumn colour in the tree tops on the South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario.

Taken on a recent walk around the neighborhood with the TTArtisan 17mm lens on a small mirrorless camera.

This is my contribution to Debbie’s One Word Sunday: Seasonal prompt.

It’s been a strange autumn in this part of Ontario. Some of the normally colourful trees have been disappointing this year. I checked one location this morning and there’s very little colour yet while other areas changed colour weeks ago and a lot of the trees are already bare.

It’s been a strange autumn for colour. Some trees started changing colour months ago in the summer. I went to check colour on the Niagara Escarpment this morning and there’s little autumn colour with hardly any change in the past two weeks.
