One Word Sunday: Below

Autumn colour below Bickerton Hill in southern Cheshire, England.

Bickerton Hill is the southern end of a sandstone ridge sticking out of the Cheshire plain. This photo was taken from is the site of an iron age hill known as Maiden Castle.

This is my contribution to Debbie’s One Word Sunday: Below prompt.

Thanks Sue. It’s looking north north west so on a clear day you can see central Liverpool across most of Cheshire and the River Mersey. The distinctive Roman Catholic cathedral being a particular landmark.
