A live composite exposure of cloud moving across the sky at sunrise. Taken on the Colpoy’s Bay shoreline recently.
An outing for my Olympus back to basics kit of a small mirrorless camera and a set of small manual focus prime lenses.
Mist over Colpoy’s Bay and the Niagara Escarpment at dawn recently. I rather like the way the lights on the opposite shoreline are illuminating the patches of mist while reflecting on the water.
The foreground lighting was provided by a streetlight, no need for light painting on this occasion. I was using a 2 second delay on the shutter release to allow me to get my shadow out of the shot.
An outing with my Getting Back to Basics Sony kit taken with the TTArtisan 17mm lens. This is my contribution to Jez’s Water Water Everywhere #99 photo challenge.
Storm clouds over Wiarton Marina and the Niagara Escarpment on the South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario recently.
I had a camera bag in the car when I noticed the cloud over the bay and made a short detour to Bluewater Park in the town of Wiarton. With little colour in the scene I was shooting with the intention of doing monochrome conversions.
A splash of autumn colour in the tree tops on the South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario.
Taken on a recent walk around the neighborhood with the TTArtisan 17mm lens on a small mirrorless camera.
This is my contribution to Debbie’s One Word Sunday: Seasonal prompt.
Sometimes it’s just about the light.
In this case the light under a group of Maple trees around Fairy Lake in Southampton, Ontario. I was surprised by how green the leaves were considering that some of the Maple trees in the area had been changing colour for weeks.
A recent walk around Southampton with just a camera and one manual focus prime lens, in this case the TTArtisan 35mm lens.
This is my contribution to Debbie’s Six Word Saturday challenge.
