This is my contribution to Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge: Light Green or Neon Green prompt.

This is my day 7 contribution to Becky’s April Squares on the theme of Bright.
A florescent green kayak emerging from the fog on Lake Huron at Southampton, Ontario, Canada.
This week’s Travel Tuesday is only traveling back a couple of years.
I used to live in the town of Southampton on the Lake Huron shoreline in Ontario. A couple of summers ago I was back in the town and went down to the shoreline. It was foggy out over Lake Huron and when this green kayak appeared out of the fog it made the photo.
This is my contribution to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Green.
I discovered that I had rather a lot of green photos that would work for the challenge. So I decided to go with two very different photos featuring vastly different amounts of green.

This is my contribution to the Cosmic Photo Challenge: Misty Memories.
Something about a Pea green boat,
Except that this is a lake, not a sea,
And it’s fog rather than mist,
Where’s the Owl and the Pussy-Cat?
My contribution to the Cosmic Photo Challenge – Plastic Fantastic.
The challenge got me thinking about what plastics are used for nowadays. That got me thinking about my 12 year old Olympus E-410, a lightweight, plastic bodied DSLR. It was the base model when I purchased it in 2007 but I still use it. I decided to go with a selection of photos taken with it over the past 12 months.

Saturday morning of week 28 saw me down at the Lake Huron shoreline in Southampton, Ontario. The lake was shrouded in fog, I heard and just managed to spot two Common Terns over the water when I spotted the kayak.
This is a colour photo, not manipulated. I was considering it for Monochrome Monday but decided that was cheating so it’s my pick for week 28. A few minutes later the fog had rolled in and the kayak was barely visible.
