This week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge is The Look Of Liquid.
These are ripples on Colpoy’s Bay, Ontario at sunrise. It was the gradation of orange to blue that caught my eye.
Monochrome Monday goes all the way back to last Saturday morning and a visit to a fog shrouded Lake Huron. There was some nice ripples on what water was visible in the fog.
This is a monochrome conversion although there was hardly any colour in the original.
Sunday morning of week 24 saw me down at Colpoy’s Bay for the sunrise.
I was at the Bay more than half an hour before sunrise when the water was calm with some nice reflections. By the time the sun came up a wind had picked up and there was some nice ripples picking up colour from the sunrise.
Week 18 was originally titled two ducks but the head and neck of the leading bird makes me think that they could be a Grebe species. They were out on Colpoy’s Bay and silhouetted by the rising sun. The photo is more about the light and ripples on the water, the birds are there for context.
