The latest Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge is Orange and Pink.
Having spent some time trying to think of a bird species with orange and pink plumage I decided to go with the more obvious idea of a sunrise or sunset.
In the end I went with a colourful dawn over Colpoy’s Bay, Ontario, Canada with a conveniently parked sailboat.
One from the archives. I was a little surprised when I checked the date of this photo to find it was taken nine years ago this week.
I picked this shot because of the interesting layers of cloud. It’s one I have been meaning to post for some time. It shows a sailboat on Colpoy’s Bay with a section of the Niagara Escarpment and White Cloud Island on the horizon.
One from the archives as this summer has been lacking interesting clouds and colour.
This is before the sun came up over Colpoy’s Bay and the Niagara Escarpment from two years ago. The sailboat in the photo was a regular summer feature since I moved to the area although it hasn’t been moored there this summer.
Taken from the dock in the village of Colpoy’s Bay. I went down to the dock last Sunday morning to find it and the parking area closed as the dock is being repaired.
