This summer I have been continuing my experiments with using unusual lenses for various subjects.
One set of photos is using fast portrait lenses to photograph flowers and plants. In this example I used the 7artisans 55mm f/1.4 lens wide open to photograph a Fern frond on a walk around the neighborhood.
This is my day 30 contribution to Becky’s July Squares on the theme of Perspective and another of my portraits of flowers taken with unusual lenses.
A Coneflower photographed with another fast lens although this time more of a general purpose lens than a portrait lens.
This is my day 25 contribution to Becky’s July Squares on the theme of Perspective.
An Orange Daylily photographed with a fast portrait lens to give a different perspective with very shallow depth of field on the flower.
The Kamlan 28mm f/1.4 wide open.
I rather like the background rendering.
My contribution to Six Word Saturday.
